In California, a 13-year-old boy has become the youngest person to graduate from Fullerton College after he earned four associate’s degrees in just two years.
Jack Rico, 13, enrolled at Fullerton College when he was just 11 years old. He is set to graduate in a special drive-by ceremony in La Mirada after his traditional ceremony was cancelled.
After earning his four associate’s degrees, Rico is headed off to the University of Nevada on a full academic scholarship. He said he is planning on pursuing a bachelor’s degree in history.
“I’m 13, so I don’t want to rush everything. I’m still trying to figure it out, but I just want to focus on learning right now. That’s what I love to do.”
