When adorable little Nora Davis was just a toddler, she experienced the most dreadful tragedy that no child should have to face--the loss of her mother.
A year after Amber passed away of cervical cancer, Nora decided to honor her late mother in the most heartfelt way possible: wearing her wedding gown for a remarkable photo shoot.
However, the plan to have Nora photographed in her mother's wedding attire was thought of before Amber's passing.
According to Amber's close friend and owner of My Three Arrows Photography Heidi Spillane, Amber came up with the idea for the photo shoot after she was diagnosed.
"I can remember the day amber texted me a picture of a little girl in her mom's wedding dress and we started planning," Heidi wrote in a post on Facebook.
Last month, Amber's wish came true--Heidi and the Davis family planned the shoot and incorporated many different emotional ideas directly from Nora's parents' wedding day--including having her hair done by the same stylist, posing with the bouquet, and wearing her mother's rings.
While it seems that this idea would be almost too emotionally painful for Nora and her father, Derek, Amber's sister Adrianne Blackwater explained "I thought it was going to be emotional, but it was just a happy time. We talked about Amber ... the day of their wedding."
"That mother-daughter bond, there is nothing else like it," Adrianne added. "I think Amber wanted something special for her. Nora enjoyed her day of being a little princess."
How stunning was this emotional photo shoot?
